About Dr. Skoyen
Dr. Megan Skoyen is one of our mixed animal clinicians. She is passionate about small animal and equine dentistry and has completed training with board-certified small animal and equine dentists. She is also interested in equine chiropractic care and will be advancing her knowledge in this area to offer those services to Fredonia Veterinary Clinic's clients.
Megan was raised in rural northwestern Wisconsin on a hobby farm and the town of Fredonia and it's neighboring villages feel like home for her.
Dr. Skoyen received her doctorate at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Prior to veterinary medical school, Dr. Skoyen also attended UW-Madison for her undergraduate studies, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Outside of work, Dr. Skoyen enjoys reading, hiking, and running half marathons. She has a black lab rescue dog Frankie who keeps her active with lots of walks on the Oak Leaf Trail. Dr. Skoyen also loves trail riding with her two horses Aspen and Honey. She is excited to explore the Kettle Moraine trails in the area with her horses and dog.
